- Locally Made Dog Biscuits! Cool!
byDawn YukusCustomer07/08/2009 - 10:02amI wandered into their location last week and genuinely had a good time. =D
A Little Background: I'm used to pet stores having a creepy air to them... either some detached-from-the-animals'-welfare feel, an upscale yuppy puppy feel, OR at the least smelling like nauseating mix of urine, chemicals, & fear. This has caused me to avoid pet & pet supply stores in recent years.
I must say, Quality Paws lives up to its name! It really is a place of quality. The employee (I'm so sorry that I forgot your name!) I encountered was warm, friendly, and certainly seemed happy to be working there. She made sure that I found what I needed and even signed me up for their e-mail list -which I was glad for since I'm new to the area. We had a nice conversation to boot!
My shopping experience was the opposite of what I have experienced at chain pet stores. -None of that robotic dehumanized customer vs employee dynamic! These were real people. Real people who welcomed me to Denver and made me feel like I was a part of a community. Thanks!
PS They had these lovely looking, LOCALLY MADE dog biscuits for sale on the counter. Quality Paws: A local business that supports other local businesses. Two Thumbs Up!
