I've shopped at Ahimsa several times. I've bought a crystalynn kae handbag, a hemp wallet, and a rubber wallet. There are some shoes from India I've been trying to justify buying. This store has great stuff, a lot from the United States.
The only drawback is the bags made from vinyl, but the owner said they were trying to phase out vinyl.
I can't say enough how much I appreciate The Digital Frontier. They have done numerous print jobs for MHBA, and every job has been exceptional. From the quality of their finished product to their customer service, they are the best printer I've ever interacted with. They can handle small to very large jobs, including brochures, posters, mailers, banners, signs, business cards, and any other promotional materials you need for your business. They even offer green printing with soy-based inks and post-consumer recycled paper. They have the best prices I've been quoted, and take such good care of their customers. I promise you won't be disappointed.
I love that we now have a nieghborhood shop that has gifts that are made locally. I like that some of the items are a reuse of common things or are green (like the yummy soy candles). I haven't taken a class there yet because the times just haven't worked out but I plan to. There is some neat stuff in Caboodle and I will shop there often.
I found exactly what I had been looking for here. I had been looking for an oil and the other places I tried weren't quite right. Herbs and Arts oils are the best. I loved the bumper stickers too.

I have been to Hooked on Colfax a number of times. It is a great meeting space with delicious coffee from Pablos on 6th. The outdoor patio has great ambiance, especially in the early evening. There are comfortable chairs inside and tables if you need to do work. Plus you can buy underwear, what more could you need?
I am slowing making the switch from using synthetic products to using all natural organic products...I have found Lily Organics to be a great product. No synthetic chemicals are used and everything is made fresh on the certified organic farm in Brighton. The cleaser and lotion that I use are even great aromatherapy. The mask has also been great for clearing up blemish spots! Overall awesome skin care line!!
They even have Bhakti chai!!
