Always Greet Your Customers

I hear a lot from people about what makes for a good experience with a local business. Whether you're a retailer or a law firm, a little attention to your customers can go a long way.

With all the demands on your attention, it's easy to forget the simple things that make your customers feel special. But think of what it's like to walk into a store and be ignored, or to walk up to a counter and have cashiers continue their personal conversation while pretending you don't exist. It's a little unnerving to wait while a person right in front of you hasn't even looked your way.
